Was Paris Hilton practicing her acting in jail? I guess so. Just one month after coming out of jail,
hotel heiress Hilton has landed a role for herself in an upcoming musical thriller.
Paris has signed on to star in a new futuristic musical thriller called ‘Repo! The Genetic Opera.’ The thriller set in 2056 is all about an organ failure epidemic that forces people to buy expensive genetically modified organs from the evil biotech company Geneco.
The club-hopping Hilton is not just an actor but a good singer too! I doubt so! Well, leave my opinion, the 26-year old overwhelmed the filmmakers with her voice and grabbed a chance for her to sing in this futuristic thriller, which contains musical numbers ranging from opera to rock.
Director of the Repo, Darren Lynn Bousman said,
I have auditioned at least 30 actresses for this role-Paris came in and owned it. She is this role.
The hotel heiress will star in her new flick alongside ‘Spy Kids’ star Alexa Vega and ‘Goodfellas’ actor Paul Sorvino. She plays the daughter of the organ transplant magnate (Veteran actor and opera singer Paul Sorvino) who is the villain of this musical thriller. The film will release in 2009.

Paris Hilton To Launch a New Book?

Do you know that Paris Hilton is fond of literature and is very creative? No, I’m not joking, hotel heiress is in the planning stages of writing another type of literary masterpiece.
Paris’ literary agent Dan Strone, who handled her 2004 book ‘Confessions Of An Heiress’ said,
She is planning to do another book. She is thinking of doing a new book, and I don’t think believe at this time, it’s contemplated to be a so-called prison diary.
Well, I still remember few months back Paris was apparently planning to publish some sort of prison memoir, pegged to her 23-day stint in prison. And specifics of Hilton’s next book are yet not finalized. Strone told 24Sizzler.com,
I don’t think that’s the direction she’s heading.
Hmm! I guess, next I’ll post that Hilton has cancelled her plans to write any type of book!

Paris Hilton To Sue MTV

Paris Hilton is threatening to sue MTV unless they pull a sketch where she parodies her drunk-driving incident.
The hotel heiress filmed the skit for the debut episode of 'ShortCircuitz' in January, but she is now seemingly failing to see the funny side.
The sketch - due to air tomorrow (05.04.07) - features Paris promoting her 'What Would Paris Do'

bracelets in a fake infomercial.
In one clip, a blonde is pulled over by a police officer for drunk-driving and, after consulting her bracelet, starts grinding against the cop.
The blushing officer says: "I can't arrest you, you're too fabulous."
Paris, 26, shot the sketch before she was arrested for driving with a suspended licence on February 27. The arrest violated the 36-month probation order she received after pleading no contest to alcohol-related reckless driving in January.
